Robotics Tournament Free This Weekend

VAN WERT - Van Wert High School will be hosting a robotics tournament this weekend in the high school gym. All three high school robotics teams will be competing with matches starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday and ending at appoximately 4 p.m. No cost for admittance; the event is free. The Van Wert High School robotics program is possible through the generous contributions of local businesses and companies. Central Insurance, Alliance Automation, Vancrest, Van Wert Federal Bank and 1st Federal Bank of Van Wert, Citizens Bank, and Statewide Ford are faithful sponsors each season to help the teams participate in FIRST Tech Challenge.

Team Coaches Bob Spath and Zane McElroy would also like to thank the Van Wert County Foundation for their grant provided by Carmody Family Memorial Fund.
