2023 New Year, New Team

This year's 2023 FRC Season has started! We have many more students coming into this year's competition, and many returning members! 

We started Monday, January 9th by watching the challenge video. We split into groups, all groups doing something different. We brainstormed ideas in our groups for this year's competition, one group even made a prototype for an elevator mechanism to see how it would work.

This year's freshmen are learning many things about robotics, even being able to help build or program the robot. Many of the freshmen were also on the FTC teams and continued to pursue robotics. Many upperclassmen have also returned from last year's competitions.

This year's season is called "Charged Up." We need to collect cubes and cones onto platforms and poles. Then we have to balance all of the alliance robots onto a charging platform.

We are all very excited for this year's competition, and ready to go to competitions!
